Why should I teach drama at camp?

A chance to teach, to be on stage and inspire a future generation of performers - theatre jobs abroad are an incredibly fun and different way to spend your summer.

Camp directors will be looking for a performer who is equipped with a catalogue of physical, mental and vocal warmup exercises, you should be able to plan and deliver daily classes for all abilities. From contemporary to cabaret and from mime to melodramatics, prepare to be diverse and to be involved - campers love active demonstrations from staff members.

What does a drama instructor do?

  • Drama activities involve fun performance games that aim to develop confidence & stage presence
  • Preparing campers for camp-wide performances such as talent contests and drama/dance shows

Drama is involved in many other activities at camp, like dance or performing arts, so you'll never be bored.
