BRINGING CAMP TO LIFE

THE ROLE

Teach what you love. Become a Camp Trainer.

WHAT IS A CAMP TRAINER?

You’ll be supervising and living in a bunk with the campers. Throughout the day you will teach activities and supervise your group throughout their fun packed schedule.

Ensuring they are engaged and having fun as well as maintaining a safe and healthy camp environment for the children to thrive.

THE HOURS

Adventure China is certainly not your average desk job. You'll spend your days hanging out in the great outdoors with your campers and the other counsellors.

There's plenty of time to relax, as each camp will make sure you've got time off during the day. You'll get at least one 24 hour period off per week - and some camps provide the entire weekend off.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?

You don’t need any qualifications for Adventure China.

One of the great things about being at camp in China is that you'll discover plenty of new skills. If you’re positive, adventurous, and have lots of energy, you’ll fit right in with us. We’ll get you ready for China long before you leave home.

If you do have a specific skill, be sure to let us know! Previous experience working with children is always a bonus.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?

A summer camp in China is more diverse than other summer camps round the world. They're much more hands on. You’ll be expected to think on your feet and to conjure up games to keep your campers entertained - think tag, cat and mouse or bulldog - classic running games always work a treat.

Every day will bring you unique and bizarre adventures. By the time you’re back, you’ll never be short of an interesting story to tell your friends. While your role at camp is certainly going to keep you very busy each day, it's an incredible experience and one not to miss.
